I'm happy to be hosting Neuro Nights at Merry Pin, a free, monthly event for the DC-area neurodivergent community. Join us for crafting, chatting, and a discussion on a different ND-related topic each month in a safe, welcoming space!
Neuro Nights are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6pm till close (9pm), starting on June 9th, 2026.

Hi! I’m Tara, the ND Auntie!
I’ve been working in video production, writing, and communications for over 17 years, both in the government and as an award-winning independent filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor. I was diagnosed with ADHD in my mid-40s and Autism a few years later, and found community through co-founding and co-leading a neurodiversity employee resource group at my government agency until all such groups were dismantled in early 2025. I live in Olney, MD with my husband and three Boston Terriers. My hobbies include reading, knitting, embroidering, and critiquing bad movies. I am also a rabid fan of the Oxford comma.
And yes, I am actually an aunt to two fabulous little girls!
